What makes a home? Perhaps it’s sleeping in a comfy bed, a perfect place to enjoy a cup of tea or your own spot on the sofa where you can chill and watch TV. Comforts and personal touches are definitely essential homely elements. But, if you really think about it, it’s the people who truly make your house a home. Right?
At Home Suite Hotels, it’s our warm and welcoming staff members who help create that feeling of home-away-from-home. Our friendly team always goes the extra mile to ensure our guests and their fur–babies feel at home and ultra-comfortable – whether it’s a warm smile after a long day or a helping hand to make your stay worry-free.
Let’s introduce you to some members of our Home Suite Hotels family.
Meet Palesa Mokhosoa
Palesa is a concierge at Home Suites Sea Point. If her personality doesn’t win you over, her bright smile definitely will! Her work colleagues and the gorgeous sea views are two of the best things she loves about her job. For Palesa, Home Suites Sea Point is different from other hotels because they are pooch-friendly, offer the best service, and make guests feel at home.
If you had to ask her what animal lovers look forward to when they stay here, she’d tell you, “comfort for their dogs, including dog bowls and beds. We also have a lawn and some snacks, and we’re not far from the promenade where guests can walk their dogs.”
Meet Xhanti Busakwe
Xhanti is our friendly, dog-loving concierge at Home Suites Sea Point. His secret superpower is his smile, warm personality, and love for people in general. The environment, communal kitchen and rooftop pool with views to die for are what Xhanti loves most about his job. So far, his best experience is busy weekends with happy guests who give the best reviews.
For Xhanti, the home-away-from-home feeling distinguishes Home Suites Sea Point from other hotels. And as a pooch-friendly environment, Xhanti assures pet-lovers they will enjoy walking their animals down to the beach and that we allow pets to sleep in the rooms with them.
Meet Tanya Maré
Tanya is our revenue and reservation manager who is always finding ways to improve our day-to-day operations to ensure our guest experience is smooth sailing from the moment of booking. For Tanya, Home Suite Hotels is different because we consider our guests more like family than just people who walk in and out.
“Home Suite Hotels is a lot more personalised – we try to create a calm, comfortable environment for our guests…We try to make everyone’s experience a memorable one by creating that sense of home when you’re not at home,” she says.
And it’s not only humans who are treated like family. Tanya says the team always goes the extra mile to treat the guests’ pets like part of the family. A bonus to staying at Home Suite Hotels Rosebank is Hazel, our resident pooch who is always ready to play with guests’ pets during their stay.
Meet Tshepi Mdluli
Tshepi is our hardworking central reservationist at Home Suite Hotels Rosebank. She considers her “infectious personality” her superpower (we agree!). Some of the things she loves most about working here are meeting lots of people, having coffee with her friends and the super great team she works with. Her best experience so far is getting recognition from one of the top guests she helped with their stay.
Why is Home Suite Hotels different? Taipee says it’s very homely, from check-in to helping yourself to late-night snacks from the larder. Her favourite Suite Spot is the fibre wifi – “gone are the days where a bed, pillow and coffee were the main priorities of a hotel. Nowadays, wifi is one of the most important.”
These are just a couple of our lovely family members. Book your stay at Home Suite Hotels Rosebank, Home Suite Hotels Sea Point or Home Suite Hotels De Waterkant and meet the rest of the team who cannot wait to welcome you home!
